A: This was an
assignment for Introduction to Web Development at BYU-Idaho
Online.
Q: Have you ever in your life experienced whitewater rafting?
A: Yes! I used to live in Valdez, Alaska. On the fifth of July,
1990, I went rafting down the Lowe River through Keystone Canyon.
It was absolutely amazing because there are about a dozen
waterfalls through the canyon like this one. Later I learned that
just the day before, an entire raft-load of nurses capsized and
had to be rescued. It was dramatized on that 90's show: "Rescue
911".
Q: Do you like making fake websites?
A: Yes! I love it!
I like any excuse to make a website and make it look cool, even if
it is fake.
Q: Did you know anything about web design and development before
taking this course?
A: Nope! I knew zilch, nada, nothing. I'm excited to have found
something I love so much and could possible make a career out of;
as a woman pushing 60, that's rather thrilling!
Q: Do you think it's ethical to make fake websites and post them
on the World Wide Web?
A: Of course I think it is ethical and absolutely appropriate.
I've clearly stated that this is NOT a real
company so if you are not okay with this, move along. Also, in
full disclosure, you should know that this is a fake FAQ page :-D
